MATLAB code to solve the benchmark model (switches in weights)
in "Monetary Regime-Switches and Central Bank Preferences"
by Debortoli and Nunes (2013), Journal of Money Credit and Banking

The code solves the model, produces the figures and tables, and the simulations used in the Monte-Carlo estimation exercise. The GENSYS package by Chris Sims (available at http://sims.princeton.edu/yftp/gensys/) should be previously installed.

Descriptions of files:
- main.m: Main file (parameters are defined, model is solved, results are displayed)

It calls the functions:
 - solve_model.m: file to solve the linear model with GENSYS
 - Pol_FixPoint.m: function defining the residuals for the fix point iteration in the Regime Switching model;
 - do_statistics.m: it calculates statistics
 - do_simul.m: it calculates random simulations
 - impresp_sims: it calculates impulse responses
 - show_table: it displays a table of statistics on the screen

Other files:
equs.m:	file containing the model equations
